instructions, whispered pleas, reverberated my soul
three words to change my life,
“go, baby, go.”
words begged by wizened lips
concocted by a mind lacking life’s
go, baby, to ancient mountain passes
to drink tea with new companions.
go, to colorful depths of the tranquil sea,
viewing life wriggling about.
go, to grassy plains and run, run, run to each end,
placing a hand over your racing heart.
go, baby, go to every corner known,
to learn history from long ago,
ignite with your shining smile.
discover darkness camped among the weary,
exhibit your endless wealth of kindness.
burn away worldly evils with your
go, baby, go.
“Baby, please, go.”
