december book wrap-up| january TBR pile

Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a rejuvenating first Sunday of 2019 thus far and are ready for the next twelve months! Did you make any resolutions? Leave some down in the comments! 🙂

I’ve resolved to read more and to expand my writing technique as well as trying out different genres and be more diligent on my blog as well!

I’m a huge book lover and would love to share that with you! December was a pretty slow month with the holidays, work, and fitting in my daunting writing schedule. Reading is my favorite escape and my aunt (I only see her very rarely) even commented on Thanksgiving a couple months ago on how I always have a book to read, since I was a young girl.

Side note, TBR means To Be Read. Common phrase in the booksphere but new on my site. 🙂

january tbr pile

  • Game of Thrones// George R.R. Martin
  • Tempting Fate// Jane Green
  • Caraval// Stephanie Garber
  • Furyborn// Claire Legrand
  • Three Dark Crowns// Kendare Blake
  • Queen of Air and Darkness// Cassandra Clare
  • Six of Crows// Leigh Bardugo

december reads

The Cruel Prince// Holly Black (4/5)
Heartless// Melissa Meyer (3.25/5)
King’s Cage// Victoria Aveyard (3.5/5)
Kingdom of Ash// Sarah J. Maas (re-read) (10/5)
Court of Mist and Fury// Sarah J. Maas (re-read) (10/5)

January is also a pretty big month for me… I’ll be turning 21!! I’m beyond excited and intimated at being a “real” adult and no longer a teenager. I’m not sure I’m quite ready to let go of my childhood but excited for this new adventure.

Pen down,
Hannah
