February TBR Pile | Writing Update

Hey, everyone! It’s Monday and I hope your weekend was exceptional and relaxing. πŸ™‚

It’s been snowing and bi cold in Denver so I’ve been snuggled with a good book and writing bits and pieces. We are well into Febraury and I wanted to share my monthly reading goal. I highly recommend everyone to create their own TBR pile (monthly, quarterly, etc.) to keep yourself on track and continuously reading. If you have one, share your TBR books! πŸ™‚

My Febraury TBR Pile

  • Siege and Storm// Leigh Bardugo (and if we’re being honest I’ll read Ruin and Rising right after)
  • Six of Crows Triology// Leigh Bardugo
  • The Sun Also Rises// Ernest Hemingway

Total books: 6

Writing Update

Writing this novel has been 90% of my life and I definitely wanted to share this part with you and I would love to know your own writing updates down in the comments! πŸ™‚

I have about fifteen thousand words left before I reach my goal count! This is the most I’ve EVER written in my life and I’m doing some crazy cartwheels (can’t do ’em but oh well!) The plot has exploded and I have ideas for the next couple books in the series.

Once I finish my first draft (and edit it afterwards), I’ll start the first book in another fantasy series I’ve been outlining for the past few weeks. I heard this song by Billie Eilish on the way to work and the idea formed in the car. I had to pull over to write it all down.

I’m so excited to share my finished work with you all! How’s your writing going so far? What are your projects? What are you reading this month? Share with me down in the comments! πŸ™‚
